Lutheran Book Studies - Grouping

This is a collection of eight doctrinal books reviewed in depth by Pastor Rhode given at Faith Lutheran Church over the past five years.  Books were selected by church members.  Every attempt was made to provide a variety of key doctrinal issues.  In order of sequence from newest to oldest, they are: Only the Decalogue is Eternal (Martin Luther); Bondage of the Will (Martin Luther); Commonplaces:Loci Communes 1521 (Philip Melanchthon); The Lord's Supper (John R. Stephenson); Justification of the Sinner Before God (Eduard Preuss); Baptism (David Scaer); Eschatology (John R. Stevenson); and We Confess Anthology (Hermann Sasse).
